Time for a change?

The average person requires approximately 8 hours sleep each night so that is over 2,900 hours each year which is a very important reason as to why your final decision on which mattress to purchase must be if possible be the correct one.

You may be unaware as to the reasons why you are not sleeping soundly and are waking up feeling tired before the day begins. Often these reasons just start in a minor way getting progressively worse as time goes on – or a change in lifestyle can also have a marked affect on your sleep pattern.

  1. The original quality of your mattress may no longer be giving you the desired level of comfort and support.
  2. How many years have you been sleeping on the mattress? More than 10? If so that is well over 3000 nights and even though it has probably served you well during the majority of that time mattresses do not last for ever and eventually have to be changed.
  3. You may have started using your mattress for more reasons other than just for sleeping on, e.g.:  reading, watching television, having an afternoon nap. These will all reduce the lifespan of your mattress.
  4. Gaining or even losing weight can change the way how you actually sleep which will also have a bearing on the lifespan of the mattress.
  5. Your sleep pattern has deteriorated during the past 12 months. Why? You even realise that when staying away from home that you have enjoyed a far better sleep. Often this signifies that your own mattress should be changed.
  6. A larger mattress may be the answer. It is commonly acknowledged that being disturbed by your sleeping partner can be detrimental to having a good night’s sleep.

Useful tips that may help towards a peaceful night.

  1. Try to have a regular sleep pattern by going to bed at a similar time each night.
  2. Do not drink alcohol shortly before going to bed.
  3. If you like a bedtime drink, try to leave Caffeine alone.
  4. Your bed is not your office - Your bed is for sleep.

It was such a lovely day I thought it a pity to get up.
